I finally had the opportunity to visit Cape Coral’s newest hotspot, Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina, this past weekend, and it did not disappoint! Located at the base of the Cape Coral Bridge, it offers a vibrant blend of waterfront dining, boating amenities, and live entertainment that’s already making waves in Southwest Florida.
Spanning 3.1 acres along the Caloosahatchee River, Slipaway is the city’s first combined food truck park and marina—I found it to be both fresh and family-friendly. Visitors can dock their boats at one of the 30 slips, refuel at the on-site fuel dock, and stroll into a lively outdoor venue featuring 10 locally owned food trucks serving everything from BBQ and tacos to Greek, Cuband, and seafood specialties.
The park’s layout includes shaded seating, a Ship Store, and over 100 parking spaces, making it accessible whether you arrive by land or water. The atmosphere is designed to be celebratory and inclusive, with live music, cocktails, and sunset views that elevate the dining experience. You can order from individual food trucks, or find a table near the bar, order a drink from the wait staff, and scan the QR Code to have food delivered directly to your table!
Slipaway officially launched with a Fourth of July bash, complete with giveaways and prime views of Cape Coral’s “Red, White and Boom” fireworks show. Since then, it’s become a go-to destination for locals and tourists alike looking for a laid-back escape with a gourmet twist.
Open daily, Slipaway’s bar hours run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., food trucks serve from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the marina’s fuel dock operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Whether you're paddling in for lunch or cruising in for cocktails, Slipaway offers a unique way to enjoy Cape Coral’s waterfront charm. If you haven't stopped in yet, I highly recommend you schedule a visit today!
